Katy Dixon, the founder of Dixon Design Co. was raised in Southern California, where her early exposure to the environment ignited her passion for impeccable design. Having since moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, her perspective on design has reached new heights beyond her experience in Southern California. Not only does she appreciate good design, she delves into understanding and cultivating her own style, focusing on elements like color, texture, and lighting. Over the years, Katy honed her skills, becoming adept at pulling together various design elements, making her a detail-oriented person. Growing up in a diverse environment allowed her to not only develop an individual style but also an appreciation for the wide variety of artistic and lifestyle choices of others.

Katy's diverse background enables her to tailor designs to bring out each client's personality. With a keen ability to gather information from clients and blend it with her talent, she creates spaces that feel like home. Described as energetic, yet down-to-earth, Katy possesses problem-solving skills, a trait she attributes to her dyslexia, viewing it as a major gift.
